War on Want works to challenge the root causes of poverty, inequality and injustice through partnership with social movements in the South and by running hard-hitting campaigns in the UK in support of radical change.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated campaigner to lead on delivering our campaigning work on trade justice issues, and who can also potentially support the wider campaigning work of our organisation as we develop our next five year strategic plan.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a fast moving and live campaign. Our work on trade justice is a key part of War on Want’s campaigning for economic justice. In recent years, this has focused on the need for transparency and democracy as the UK government develops new trade policy after Brexit, as well as a joint campaign recently launched, tackling corporate courts (Investor State Dispute Settlements) This is also an key time to join War on Want as we develop our next strategic plan and determine our priorities for the next five years.
