Trade transparency: make your voice count

As the government prepares laws on how we negotiate and conclude trade deals, we must ensure that transparency and democracy are at the heart of our trade agenda. From secret deals like TTIP, we saw how trade can impact all areas of life: removing our social and environmental rules, determining whether or not public services like the NHS are locked into privatisation, and granting powers to corporations to sue our government in a dystopian, secret court system.

The government says it values transparency in trade: we have until November 6 to respond to its proposals. We need trade transparency now - no more secret trade deals!
