UK banking giant Barclays has ramped up its bankrolling of companies selling arms to Israel’s occupation and apartheid regime by 55% since 2021 – despite Israel committing plausible genocide against the Palestinian people.

Our new briefing, “Barclays: Arming Israel’s Apartheid and Genocide”, produced in collaboration with the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and Campaign Against Arms Trade, shows that Barclays now invests £2 billion and provides a further £6.1 billion in loans and underwriting to nine companies whose weapons, components, and military technology are used by Israel's occupation and apartheid regime.
