Israel’s attacks on Syria and its ongoing military operations there unquestionably unlawful and must not be portrayed otherwise, says a group of human rights, humanitarian and legal organisations in the UK, including War on Want.

UK groups call on the UK government to declare that Israel’s attacks on Syria are unlawful and must end. Israel’s aggression underlines the need for a suspension of all UK arms transfers to Israel, for the UK to take concrete actions to end Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and its unlawful occupation of the occupied Palestinian territory.
