Annual General Meeting 2025 – Second Notice
This year our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be hybrid, held online and in person at Rich Mix, 35-47 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6LA at 12 noon on Saturday 14 June 2025. Please note that in order to attend the virtual AGM you will need to register 48 hrs in advance here.
Our AGM is open to all members and affiliates to attend. It gives you the chance to hear first-hand reports about what has been achieved over the past year, ask questions and vote on any resolutions presented at the meeting. If you're not a member of War on Want you can join us today with a regular donation – click here to set up your membership – it takes just a few minutes.

Election for the War on Want Council of Management:
There were five trustee vacancies for the Council of Management and five valid nomination received. The election is therefore uncontested and Esther Giles, Nesar Rafiq, Rajiv Menon, Roger McKenzie and Wilf Sullivan will be declared appointed as trustees at the AGM. Emergency resolutions
In an emergency, resolutions may be submitted for consideration by the AGM after the deadline for receipt of ordinary resolutions. Emergency resolutions must be submitted by 12 noon on Thursday 12 June 2025.
For a resolution to be considered on this basis it must:
- Relate solely to matters that have taken place since 12 noon Thursday 24 April 2025
- Be seconded and submitted in writing on the relevant form (linked at the bottom of this page) to David Rudkin no less than 48 hours before the AGM is due to take place
