War on Want works to challenge the root causes of poverty, inequality, and injustice through partnership with social movements in the Global South and by running hard-hitting campaigns in the UK in support of radical change.
We are looking for a Campaigns Officer to support the delivery of high quality outputs for our Economic Justice and Trade Justice work including our current campaign against ISDS, investor-state dispute settlement and the Energy Charter Treaty.
With experience gained through volunteering, activism, or campaigning, we are looking for someone with knowledge of social justice issues, and aligned with War on Want’s vision and mission, and keen to work within a fast-paced campaigning organisation. This role is varied and includes: drafting and producing campaign actions, contributing to social media output on economic justice issues; representing War on Want externally in networks and at events, liaising with WoW supporters as well as keeping up to date with all relevant issues relating to our work in this area.
