Annual General Meeting 2026 – Second Notice
This year our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be hosted online at 4pm Friday 4 September 2026. Please note that in order to attend the virtual AGM you will need to register 48 hrs in advance here.
Our AGM is open to all members and affiliates to attend. It gives you the chance to hear first-hand what has been achieved over the past year, ask questions and vote on any resolutions presented at the meeting. If you're not a member of War on Want you can join us today with a regular donation – click here to set up your membership – it takes just a few minutes.

Election for the War on Want Council of Management:
There were eight trustee vacancies for the Council of Management and seven valid nominations received. The election is therefore uncontested and Alia Al Ghussain, Mike Cushman, Steve Davies, Natalia Guidorzi, Kaysara Khatun, Norina O’Hare and Sarah Woolley will be declared appointed as trustees at the AGM. Emergency resolutions
In an emergency, resolutions may be submitted for consideration by the AGM after the deadline for receipt of ordinary resolutions. Emergency resolutions must be submitted by 4pm Wednesday 2 September 2026.
For a resolution to be considered on this basis it must:
• Relate solely to matters that have taken place since 12 noon Friday 17 July 2026
• Be seconded and submitted in writing on the relevant form (linked at the bottom of this page) to David Rudkin no less than 48 hours before the AGM is due to take place.
