Senior Campaigner – Palestine, Militarism and Security

£49,639.34 rising on an annual incremental basis. War on Want also offers a 6% contributory pension scheme. War on Want’s head office is at 44-48 Shepherdess Walk, London N1 7JP. Hybrid working with a minimum of one day per month in the office and be available to attend key meetings with targets as appropriate.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Senior Campaigner to lead the delivery of our thematic campaigning work on Palestine and Militarism and Security. The role will primarily lead War on Want's Justice for Palestinecampaigning while contributing to the development of our wider work on militarisation, occupation, imperialism and security, including our long-standing solidarity with the Saharawi people and work on Western Sahara.

This is an exciting post leading one of War on Want's most innovative and successful areas of campaigning. Justice for Palestine is one of the organisation's highest-profile campaign priorities and one of our strongest areas of engagement with members, supporters and movement partners.

You will be joining War on Want at a pivotal moment. Following the redevelopment of our Justice for Palestine strategy, we are entering a new phase of campaigning focused on increasing the political, economic and reputational costs of UK Government and corporate complicity in Israel's occupation, apartheid and genocide. Alongside this, we are developing our wider Militarism and Security programme to respond to rising global militarisation, authoritarianism and imperialism, and to strengthen movements working for peace, justice and international solidarity.
