In this film nine women from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh share their experience of working in a garment factory, why they joined a trade union and why they encourage other women workers to do the same.

The global garment industry employs up to 60 million people worldwide and makes billions in profits each year. Yet most garment workers, mainly young women, have never benefited from this wealth.
