In this film nine women from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh share their experience of working in a garment factory, why they joined a trade union and why they encourage other women workers to do the same.
War on Want made this film to be used by trade unions, women’s and worker rights organisations in both countries. We hope that by seeing other women talk about why they joined a union it will encourage others to come forward and find out more about trade unions.
